– 1 ½ pounds ground beef – 1 large egg – 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese – 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal – 1 teaspoon dried oregano – salt and ground black pepper to taste – 1 tablespoon olive oil – 1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce

Ingredients:

Mix ground beef, egg, Parmesan cheese, flaxseed, oregano, salt, and pepper in a big bowl using your hands. 

Shape the mixture into balls about the size of golf balls. 

Put some olive oil in a large frying pan and heat it up on medium heat.  

Add the meatballs to the pan and cook them until they turn brown, which takes about 5 minutes on each side.  

Then pour tomato sauce over the meatballs.  

Let it simmer and cook until the meatballs are fully cooked, which usually takes around 25 to 30 minutes.  

To check if they're done, you can use a thermometer – it should read at least 160 degrees Fahrenheit (about 72 degrees Celsius) when inserted into the center of a meatball.
