The Best Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

– 3 eggs, beaten – 1 cup raisin – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 cup butter, softened – 1 cup brown sugar – 1 cup white sugar – 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon salt – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 2 teaspoons baking soda – 2 cups rolled oat – ¾ cup chopped pecan


In another bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until creamy.  

In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda, then add it to the creamy mixture and stir until everything is mixed.  

Add the egg and raisin mixture, then mix in rolled oats and pecans. 

The dough will be thick. Use a teaspoon to drop the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet. 

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are golden.  

Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on the sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
